Tiny Bites
Have you ever had access to a lot of food. A buffet? Perhaps your wealthy friend is throwing a party.
Did your friend throw a party that included everything and more?
Have you ever wondered what to eat or how to control how much you eat so that you don't overdo it?
You don’t want to wake up the next morning feeling crappy, not just physically but also from having eaten and drunk too much.
Have you considered small bites?
Allow me to explain. For small bites to work, you have to do a few things first.
Make sure you don’t end up drinking too much. Indeed, it's advisable to refrain from alcohol altogether.
Also, make sure that you don’t end up starting your meals with very salty foods.
Alcohol is one of those things that makes your sugar drop very quickly, making you feel hungry. Salty foods do the same thing.
They deplete the sodium in your blood, making you feel hungry.
Avoid these at all costs if you want to watch your diet.
Great. Now, when faced with food, it's important to take tiny bites. Really small bites. As little as you can.
Eating really tiny bites plays a dual role. Your tongue and brain are satisfied. Your intake of food, though, is minuscule.
Repeat as many things as you like. You will still find that the quantity of your food was not excessive.
You managed several things. You tried everything. You let your host know that you loved the food. Nonetheless, your quantity was controlled.
If you still feel hungry, look for high-fiber foods. Salads are one example.
Since you have tasted everything and your taste buds are satisfied, the salad will do.
There you go. Tiny bites. Yes, I know you will waste food. Sorry. But between stuffing yourself silly and wasting food, I would waste the food.
