Have you done a full body scan recently? If you are above the age of forty and have not done one, consider getting one done.

What is a full body scan, and why do you need one?

One miracle of the human body is the astonishing fact that it makes about five million new cells every second.

As old dead cells give way, these new cells replace the lining of your stomach, your arteries, your liver and so on.

Typically, the process is smooth. Cells divide using code from your DNA. The new cells are healthy and all is well.

Occasionally, things go wrong.

When they do, you develop a tumor. A tumor is an unwanted mass of tissue caused by cells dividing more than they should or cells not dying when they should.

Tumors are not necessarily a problem. Undiagnosed, many people have tumors in their body with no symptom or side effects.

Sometimes, the tumor grows and turns malignant. From my experience, there need not be a specific cause or logic to why a tumor would turn malignant.

Think of it as a random act of fate.

Which is why a full body scan done by a magnetic imaging machine is extremely useful. A full body scan is capable of finding the smallest tumor in your body.

Remember, not all tumors are malignant, so finding a tumor is not necessarily a bad thing. But knowing that you have a tumor, knowing its size and location, sets you up to track and measure change.

Ask any cancer specialist and they will quickly tell you that by far the best cure for cancer is early detection. The sooner you know, the more likely you are to overcome the problem. Cancer cells grow prolifically. In weeks and months.

So the sooner you get to know, the faster you can act. Solution providers are growing by the day [see here]. They will become cheaper and more widely available.

But do consider getting one done at some point.
