Vitamins – Should you be vaping your vitamins?

September 20, 2022

Vitamins are micro nutrients that your body needs to function. A deficiency of Vitamin A can lead to night blindness, dry eyes, and skin problems. A deficiency of Vitamin B12 can cause anemia (low red blood cell count). Many of us eat a diet that provides us with the vitamins that we need. For those who are deficient, can you use vaping as a solution?
Vaping is the act of inhaling and exhaling vapor produced by an electronic cigarette. Cigarettes have been a medium to inhale tobacco. There is no reason why it can’t be repurposed to inhale vitamins. Between not getting vitamins and vaping the vitamins into your body, should you vape?
Generally speaking no. Your body is designed to digest food. Your body uses the enzymes found in the food. Besides, it also produces its own enzymes that helps you digest your food. So there cannot possibly be anything better than eating food to get your vitamins.
In case you struggle, or if say you have a young child who will not eat, you could consider alternatives. Supplements, medicines or natural forms. But what if you want a personalised formulation delivered in an easy to consume format?
In the United States, for example, it is common to supplement using Intravenous (IV) fluids. IV fluids can give you a boost of Vitamin C or a cocktail of different vitamins. You lie down read a book and a little while later, you have bridged the gaps in your body. There are people who are even throwing IV parties.
But we are discussing vaping. So is there any condition in which vaping can be your preferred option? I would imagine that the only condition in which it is, is if you replace your tobacco with vitamins. Otherwise eating food is always going to be your best option.
